Here at WIT-TECH Industries we offer comprehensive Thermography Solutions including inspections of all electrical components, Solar panels and mechanical equipment to pinpoint faulty or damaged circuitry and assess bearings and other mechanical components.

We have over 10 years of thermography experience incorporating all types of thermal inspections in many different industrial applications including mining, manufacturing and commercial applications. We use a high end T890 Thermography camera with an IR Resolution of 640x480 and <40 mK thermal sensitivity. This is one of the most accurate and comprehensive cameras on the market.

We will provide an extensive report pinpointing faults and recommend repair solutions to guarantee the success of the repairs.

  • Thermal Imaging is a mandatory component of many building’s Preventative Maintenance

    Thermography enables us to measure and correlated infrared radiation that cannot be seen by the naked eye. We can interpret infrared imaging to determine any areas of concern and prevent damage to infrastructure and costly down time when any one of the following areas of concern is present in a switchboard,

    • Loose terminals

    • Undersized cables

    • Faulty fuses or circuit breakers

    • Incorrectly fitted components

    These can generate excess heat and stress on the board. This left undetected can cause a full or partial power outage to the building that can be very disruptive and expensive.

  • Thermal imaging for all your building’s switchboards should be carried out every 12 months and more frequently if the nature of the site warrants higher priority eg: schools, aged care facilities.

    Many insurance companies are now making thermal imaging a condition of policy renewal.

  • Thermography is a non-destructive defect testing technique which means there’s no interference to your building’s power supply during a preventative maintenance check. Switchboard thermo scanning is undertaken while the equipment is on-line and running at normal capacity.

    Some installations may require a short shutdown to facilitate access to certain components however this can be scheduled to the most convienent time for you.
